Winter Service Changes, 2021

Four times a year, we look at our bus routes and schedules to figure out what’s working and what could be improved. We consider several factors including feedback from our customers and drivers, ridership levels and changing traffic patterns.

The Winter Service Changes will come into effect on Monday, December 20.

Route 1 - Bowness/Forest Lawn	The 3:21 p.m. westbound trip has been delayed to leave at 3:25 p.m. to accommodate transfers from Route 9 at Parkdale Boulevard. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 2 - Mt Pleasant/ Killarney/ 17 Ave	The weekday 7:54 a.m. northbound trip has been moved to leave at 7:56 a.m., and the 8:04 a.m. weekday northbound trip has been moved to leave at 8:05 a.m. Trip times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 3 - Sandstone/ Elbow Dr	Buses will no longer wait at stop #6209 on northbound 4 Street S.W. at 12 Avenue S.W. Trip times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 7 - Marda Loop	A new weekday 3 p.m. trip has been added to leave at southbound 14 Street S.W. & 17 Avenue S.W. to accommodate Mount Royal School students. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 9 - Dalhousie/ Chinook	The first northbound trip times from Chinook leaving at 4:30 a.m. have been revised to accommodate transfers to the Red Line at Dalhousie. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 14 - Bridlewood/ Cranston	The weekday 8:47 a.m. trip from Bridlewood has been removed. A new weekday 8:39 a.m. trip has been added to leave Somerset Station toward Cranston. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 19 - 16 Ave North	Weekday afternoon peak times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 22 - Richmond Road	A new weekday 3 p.m. westbound trip has been added to accommodate Mount Royal School. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 23 - 52 Street East	A new stop #4322 has been added on northbound 52 Street @ 4 Avenue N.E. A new weekday peak afternoon trip has been added. Trip times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 31 - Dalhousie/ Lions Park	The weekday 7:54 a.m. southbound trip from Dalhousie has been moved to leave at 7:45 a.m. to improve the schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 32 - Huntington/Sunridge	The weekday 5:31 a.m. westbound trip has been adjusted to reduce idle time at a stop. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 37 - Heritage Station/Canyon Meadows	The weekday 3:29 p.m. trip from Elbow Drive to Canyon Meadows Drive has been moved to leave at 3:31 p.m. to improve schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 38 - Brentwood Station/Temple	Late evening service has been extended on Saturdays and Sundays: Last trip leaving Brentwood Station toward Whitehorn is 12:34 a.m. Last trip leaving 43 Avenue @ Temple Drive N.E. toward Brentwood Station is 12:55 a.m. Please view the revised schedule.
43 - McKnight - Westwinds Station/Chinook Station	First trip has been revised to arrive at McKnight-Westwinds Station at 5:01 a.m. to accommodate transfers to Route 100. Weekday afternoon peak trip times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 49 - Forest Heights	Weekday afternoon trip times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. New weekday school trips have been added, leaving Marlborough Station at 3:23 p.m. (Monday-Thursday) and at 2:44 p.m. (Friday). Please view the revised schedule.
Route 56 - Woodbine	The weekday 3:59 p.m. trip has been moved to leave at 4:04 p.m. and, the 3:41 p.m. trip has been moved to leave at 3:45 p.m. Please view the revised schedule.
Route 58 - Erin Woods/44 St SE	Afternoon trip times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence. A new 3:41 p.m. school trip has been added at Erinwoods Boulevard and 36 Street S.E. Please view the revised schedule.
