Calgary Transit Ambassador Vest Design

Our Transit Ambassadors have a new look thanks to contest winner, Blake Cochlan, a born and raised Calgarian and recent Alberta University of the Arts graduate. We asked emerging local artists to submit a concept or idea to liven up our new Transit Ambassador vests. Cochlan’s winning design features a CTrain track winding around some of Calgary’s most iconic landmarks, which symbolizes the connectivity and community that Transit fosters throughout the city. 

The Transit Ambassador program started last year as a new initiative to create visibility for customers, build rapport and provide public information during planned and unplanned service disruptions. The new vests will help our Transit Ambassadors be easily identifiable, approachable, and distinguished from law enforcement while they are out on the CTrain network providing information, wayfinding, and customer service for riders.
